Getting off on the right foot on SCF

Hey guys,

I'm a moderator here and just wanted to say that the forum is still new and we are adding more articles as they are written. We had no idea there was so many spammers out there wasting time posting on forums. I don't think they know that it really doesn't help SEO, nor does it make anyone more inclined to purchase any of their products.

In any event, the admin, me and a few other mods have cleaned out TONS of spam and banned TONS of spammers. We're keeping everything up to date and a few more changes are being done to the site to make it easier to navigate. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I was just curious if you have had any time to look at this issue? I know it is a complex one that needs time. I was just looking at my list of projects and thought I would check in.

You know you're right about that. It does not really help SEO. These spammers are nothing but nuisance. I think it should even be spread in many web-maters that its no help at all to their SEO and its just being destructive. Gee...

Spammers still think they can outsmart visitors from sites when they can't. Once a visitor recognizes spam they go away. It only means the sites not protected. And even if visitors see spammers, they don't really click their advertisements. Just a nuisance as said.
