My firewall got notices me about everything, please help anyone?

I am a noob when it comes to software. I downloaded a antivirus...soft ware, that was from the college I go to. And after that and a checking for viruses, I could no longer use ie or QQ messenger. I manually deleted them and downloaded them again, shut down-turn on my mac hundres times, but nothing is working. I keep getting a message that something needs to be done with my fire wall and HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP ports.

Any advice any of you?

I would take this to the nearest macstore. They can fix this for sure. Anyway, you should get your mac maintenanced onece a year. They take it, clean it..I mean not only the OS and software stuff they clean, but they actually open the computer and wipe it down...clean inside and out. It's fantastic.

Try that. Way better than getting a headache trying to figure out the issue and not resolving it properly.

Have you tried to reformat your pc? I think the virus is still there even though you deleted it and restart your pc...Try to reformat it first before you go to a technician..If the condition is still the same you don't have any option...you have to bring it to an expert technician...:)
