Default Best web host for you

What is the best web-host you have used so far? I've been using Hostgator ever since and they're still good. They even get better with lots and lots of good offers.

Actually I am talking about free hosting and paid hosting as long as their site hosting. As for the minimum charge, that actually depends on the site host that you would choose and the type of service that you would choose from them.

I have used free hosting by Tripod, I like their web building tools. You don't have to know HTML to use it. Of course, there are ads, but you can always upgrade to the paid version and get rid of them.

I've used Tripod before and they're really good at hosting. About their ads, actually you don't really have to upgrade at all just to get rid of their ads since their ads isn't that annoying at all.

This is true, except for the pop-ups. As to ads on the site, there are only about three on the very top of the page, they don't interfere with the site. Pop-ups can be annoying for visitors though.

Yeah, the pop-ups are what they have to remove. Otherwise it could affect the number of customers they have. Besides, I think its their ads is enough to get attention.

I had read an article about choosing a web hosting company, and one thing that reminds me is that, the quality of the hosting services will always depend on what specific programming language or software they are using or recognized.

Well this is applicable to those who have an own-made design then you are planning to upload it in the net...

What can you say about this?

I know very little about web programming languages, so even if the hosting company would provide such info, if would mean nothing to me... I guess what I look for is ease of use and solid customer support. If the host has that, plus reasonable rates, I would consider them.
